My Identity Crisis

I had two idols growing up (besides Shaun Cassidy and Chachi): Jan Brady and Jamie Sommers. I loved Jan Brady because she had long hair, and I loved Jamie Sommers because she was bionic (which, by then, so was I).

When I was in fourth grade, on top of all my homework assignments I used to put the name Jan Ciurca or Jamie Ciurca instead of Lisa. My teachers never said anything when they gave my papers back. They must have thought I was nuts.

Good thing they didn't know about my bionic arm.

I wanted to be Stevie Nicks when I grew up. Still working on it.

LMAO oh my gosh girl you crack me up! Kids are so funny, always wanting to be someone different, always looking up to someone and wanting to be them! I had quite a few names in school, Ha-ha!

Hah! I used to sign school papers with names of characters from books, movies, and my own imagination. I was not, alas, bionic, however.
You were a cool kid. :) I was too much of a worrywart about my schoolwork at that age. *sigh* And I was terrified my teachers would mark me down, so I never did ANYTHING against the instructions.
At least, until sixth grade, when I (no joke) would turn in my homework on half a sheet of notebook paper, tearing it off when I was finished, instead of turning in a whole, partially used sheet. My math teacher actually called my mom about it, instead of just talking to me. :D

What a great way to start the week! Love this post! When I was younger I thought that I wanted to marry Davie Jones of the Monkeys. :-)

I told everyone my parents were the couple from that TV show 'Hart to Hart' (are you too young to know it?). My maiden name was Hart and it's amazing how many of my friends fell for it. Ah, the dreams and stupidity of youth...
